Mansfield District Primary Care Trust offers a variety of services for the local public of Nottinghamshire. Now known as Nottinghamshire County PCT, Mansfield PCT was set up to plan and pay for the health care of Nottinghamshire County population.

Adult Services

The services provided for the adults by Nottinghamshire PCT are categorized in to the following two categories.

Locality One: This includes Warsop, Forest Town, Bull Farm, Pleasley, Mansfield Woodhouse, Meden Vale and Oak Tree Lane. Adult services for Locality One are led by Locality General Manager – Jane Walshaw. This locality provides community nursing; health clinics, health centres and PCT run general practice.

Locality Two: This includes Mansfield Town. Adult services for Locality Two are led by Locality General Manager – Anne Haywood. This locality provides community nursing, health centre at St John Street and primary care provision within the locality. It also manages the hospital buildings, Sherwood Rehabilitant Unit, Chatsworth Centre and Home Loans.

Children Services Nottinghamshire PCT provides a great range of services for children and youth. These are led by the Director, who is in turn supported by the General Manager – Gary Stokes.

Health visiting across Mansfield: It is provided in health centres, parent’s homes and family centres.

School Nursing across Mansfield & Ashfield: It covers the Special Schools in Mansfield.

Vulnerable Children’s Service: It provides a range of special services to children.

Child Health Service: It provides support to the community Paediatrics service.

Community Paediatrics Service: It is delivered to a variety of community clinics.

Children’s Therapy Service: It is provided in schools and health clinics.

Children’s Speech & Language Therapy: It works for community clinics, schools and children’s home.

Family Planning Service: It is provided to women of all ages.
